The use of aluminium poles is recommended for light touring tents and sun canopies. Aluminium poles reduce the total weight of your porch in comparison to steel poles and create loading reserves in your caravan. The poles bring shape to your tent. In order to make sure your tent withstands sudden changes in weather, you generally shouldn't save on additional poles. Aluminium is lightweight, the anodised layer protects against the formation of rust and does not require any special care after use.
